i went to the bridge we locked the doors and went slowly after we had left we noticed that the door was indeed un locked

I went to emily 's Bridge and i saw her scarem for help and she scatch our doors.

I saw emily with my girlfriend Katie and it was scary because she holed for help and scatch her mother car. I went with her ,my mom, and mom rode all in one car

Definatly went to the bridge walked it sat down on it in the pitch black took pictures and nothing happened? whats the deal big dissapointment

i went to bridge and found weird becuase i was sacred and felt sad for ghosts but no skratch marks or funny noises maybe next time?

i have not gone to the bridge yet but me and my friends and my uncle are planning on going there... it sounds scarry but fun... i don't really mind if anything happens but i just want to go to the bridge that way i know if the story thing is real... i think that it is but i want to experience it for myself...

Well, I've visited the site for many years now. Its all a waiting game, sometimes nothing happens at all, other times some major stuff goes down.

Last night I finally got some major scares. I brought some friends up who were visiting the area. It seems that it usually happens only to girls who come to the bridge but it has always been described as a burning sensation on both the arms and the back. Once you leave the bridge it slowly goes away but upon closer inspection you will see scratch marks. Not huge bloody marks, but VERY distinct scratches like hands.....

I have felt trembling, heard things, even have handprints appear on the car windows but never anything like this until last night. I made sure to take a bunch of pictures as well to document this.

Most comments and people say rediculous things, so far out it's easy to write it off as fake and BS. But in all honesty, in this case, I do respect and admire that bridge.

If you ever visit, check it out anytime from midnight until 2am as those are the times when things go down. Although there are multiple versions of the stories, it boils down to three presences. Emily, a child who was lynched there, and something else.

Check it out just for the experience, but don't be surprised if nothing happens. You have to keep visiting..... Took two years for the scratching to finally happen.

About 35 years ago, 3 friends and I visited the bridge - to make a long story short, she's real, and she attacked us. Someday I'm going to write down what happened - it's a night I'll NEVER forget.

I just went two nights ago with my boyfriend and some of our close friends. There was nothing...but i thought there was too much noise and talking w/ everyone so i decided perhaps she'd only respond to females? (just an idea) so i went in with my friends cousin...we're about the same age early twenty's...We walked in and our other friends were taking pictures the whole time. We both felt something just a feeling in our guts, in the far right corner of the bridge...something bad. Something telling us not to go there. i felt really itchy too...soon after she did as well. It felt like the floor was shaking a bit...could have just been from the water who knows..but we both felt it. Then something just told me to get out! just GO! so i took off like a bat out of hell lol. But the next day we looked at the pictures....In that very same corner we were scared of there were VERY obvious orbs. I was shocked and like everyone else i have major respect for the bridge. Scary and fascinating at the same time.

well i havent been there yet but i plan too it sounds like a hoot cant wait to to meet emily gonna spend the night there see what comes up

I went to emilys bridge with a bunch of friends and we were talking and asking emily questions and none of us really beleieved anything would happen. My friend decided to get out her cellphone and just start recording. After listening to the recording we heard a voice that we did not hear while on the bridge. It was a mans voice talking to us and answering our questions. we put it onto the computer and you can clearly see the spikes in audio when the ghost voice talks. It was the scariest thing that has ever happened to any of us. I now beleive in an afterlife. If you do go to emilys bride record yourself talking and asking questions. You wont beleive what you hear in response.

my girlfriend and i and one of my friends went to the bridge lastnight and we got the s* scared out of us. k we parked inside the bridge and turned the lights and the car off and listened for about 10 minutes and we all saw flashes of white then the car started to move back and forth it was weird then we heard the bridge snap several times then we shined our cellphone lights on the back window and saw a hand print it was WEIRD. we also heard footsteps in the bridge the first time we parked in there.

Wow. tonight me and 4 of my close friends are going. from what ive read...about scratching, voices, and mostly about the ghost answering questions?? thats crazy. im soo scared , but i wanna experience it for myself..if anything happens ill be sure to let you other fans know. im so excited!! but my friend from school was telling me that when she went, the hill before you get to the bridge? yeah..her car totaly died..and rollled and stopped right in the center of the bridge.. im saying..helllooo?!! did you freak outt! im so scared but so readyy!!!

ok so i was visiting my cousin in vermont and he told me this crazy story. He and his friends like drove onto the bridge and stopped for a minute. Then when he tried to leave the car wouldn't move. he had his foot on the gas pedal, pushing it, but it wouldnt move like something was holding it. Finally she let go and a bout a mile up, he stiopped the car to see if it was a deicncy and there were white handprints on the back of the car. When he went to get something to wipe it off they were gone. I was there once in the day time, and in one spot i felt like a tingling in my stomach. Then when my cousin took me there at night, as soon as i saw the bridge i freaked out. I dont know why. somethin just said no. We had to drive through it, but thankfully nothing happened. I was like freaking for some reason. It was so weird.

I haven't gone yet cuz i'm a little scared to be honest.....My boyfriend wants to go and so does my sister and my brother in law.....is it as scary as it sounds??? I feel really bad about what happened to her boyfriend and why she took her own life.....I want to go and take lots of pictures at Emily's bridge but I just don't want to get hurt......We'll be going this summer......please wish me luck!!!!

I went tonight and we didn't see anything much. The only thing that happened was the radio was off and turned on by itself and then the lights wouldn't turn on. Nothing else. But I was scared!

I went last weekend with a couple of my friends maybe around 12. I was sooo excited to get there but as soon as we got there I totally started freaking out. I would not get out of the car cuz I was so scared. Nothing really happened. We parked right outside of the bridge. But my friend decided to go on the bridge so as soon as he got on it, it broke down. It was so scary. My friend told me how he went last time and the car broke down and started shaking and then he had scratches on his arm. I was like "great thing to tell me when we are here." Lol. It was really scary but I want to go again this summer with my boyfriend and a couple other people. Im gonna take pictures this time and stuff. I hope I dont get too freaked out.

i went to emilys bridge last night on februery 2nd. I have dinner there off to the side on the dirt road and waited for the sun to set. At about 9:00 i was getting board so i put one of my ear bud head phones into my ear and started watching a movie on my iPod. So i turned my HD sony on in night vision and started to film. Shortly after i was devisted to see that my camera was filming at a strang angle because some kind of piece fell losse inside of the camera so i could only have adio. I waited for somthing to happen but nothing did and it was about 10:00. About 10 minutes later i saw a blue light shine on the hood of my car and i started to freak out, but of corse it was nothing exept for some guy comeing to tell me "you gotta turn them truck lights off to she the girl" i lafed off the creep comment and said thank you and good night then he walked back across the bridge to go home, contact me at slother34@yahoo.com so i can tell you what happened after that because nobody will belive me if i wrote it on the board.

my husband and i went to that bridge every weekend about three years ago and we would sit on it for hours at night and just listen in our car. we would bring our 2 friends with us and not every time something would happen but just about every time. we got scratches on the car you could here her tapping on the glass on the roof and sometimes even a little rocking of the car. around 130 am almost every time we went out we could here her scream or moan. at first i was scared but then i got used to it and was excited by it. we also had a car engine temp gauge that we would bring and we would watch the temp drop at least 20 degrees at a time on the bridge i have so many stories that i can tell but dont want to take up to much room in here but for the people that nothing has happened yet just keep going cuz when it does it is so worth it !!! we would like to go again but now we have three children and it is hard to find a babysitter for that many if anyone knows what i mean lol. but emily is definitely real!!!

About 20 days ago i left a comment talking about Emily's Bridge. I finished my mini documentery about the bridge and it is about 3 minutes long. Sadly the only actual edvidece of somthing happening was only in adio because my crap camera's lense or somthing was displace some how. And to answer a question i was asked, yes i do live in Vermont. I live in Williston Vermont and ever once and a while i go to stowe. OH and of corse nobody is really going to belive me but i actually did have strange minor dents and scratches on the sides and hood of my car. the scratches look to be from maby a rock or a nail or somthing.

---If you plan on going there for the first time please email me and talk with me because it is not a very good idea to go there. I will show you edvidence of the scratches, Pictures, and chilling HIGH QUALITY adio. Maby i can travel there with you next time you go, I now hove several spot lights, a helmet cam, 3 HD camcorders, 2 low quality camcorders, and like 10 tape recorders( to set up all over the bridge and around it).

----I would suggest to go there during the day light because siriously once you hear moaning and an incredibly loud pitch scream come from under the bridge like some one has latched themselfes to the bottem of the bridge, then trust me- you will never want to be any were near the bridge in the dark.

---Some people say that emily is not violent, But TRUST me there is somthing that lerks around that area that screatches and scratches you car. so im sirious BE CAREFUL. And what ever you do dont scream because some people say that it makes emily besurke when an intruder is mocking her and messing with her place of death.

i just got back from vermont, i never made it to the bridge, i was too busy working with other haunt spots. I truly am set on helping emily pass on. Just don't go there. Seriously, There's no reason. I didn't believe in this kind of stuff but I figured I'd check it out. Dangerous and evil things that I can't explain and just want to forget about. Honestly people, there's no reason to go here, its a dangerous and evil place. Avoid it like the plague.

Hey, I have not been there yet but from what everyone is saying....it sounds scary as hell and I really can't wait to go. I am going this weekend with a bunch of friends and I hope to get scared haha. I don't know if I believe in spirits or not but something tells me that I will know for sure after this weekend :-P thanks.

I used to live out in Stowe with my mother. I've lived in Vermont for 18 years now, and I have definitely been to Emily's Bridge.

Emily is no joke. She is a troubled ghost and I have experienced the cuts, scratches, voices, and other random things that happen there. It is true, the later you go the more you would probably see.

Don't get your hopes up though. You may or may not.

You'd be lucky if you did. Don't disrespect her. Don't torment.

Unless you want something bad to happen.

My boyfriends mother has pictures from Emilys bridge and it was at nighttime. And when you look at the picture you can see like a big ball of white cloud. I can not explain it. I have never see a ghost before so I dont know but what i do know is there is defently something up with those pictures, what could it be? Is it her? I guess we will never find out.

I have been to Emily's Bridge and it was pretty scary! one night that i went i came out with a scratch on my face. everytime i talk to my friends about it they look at me like i'm crazy!! so some night really soon i am going to bring my friend Carolyne. hopefully something will happen so that she doesn't think that i'm crazy too!!! lol!

my cousin, dad, and i went there about two years ago during the day time. we took some pics asked some questions, the usuall. but nothing happend. which was to be ecpected cause well it was day time. anyways a few days later we got the pictures back and out of all 20 or so of them only two had something in them. one had a white shoe lace thing across the pic that was facing towards the roof. it was not my fingure, and the camera didnt have to string attached thing. and the second im am not sure if it was just the markings in the wood, which is mosty likely. but there is a face hoovering over my dad. and a note to all the orbs that people see. the bridge is in the open, were there is dirt and bugs. when u take a picture and little white "orb" appear it is a 99% chance that it is just bugs and or the dust from walking around.. but yeah after reading all ur stories i really want to go again, but every one in my family is such chickens to go at night time. T-T sad times.

Alright I grew up in stowe no further than a few miles away from Emily's bridge. My best friend Joe and I hunt in the woods right near the bridge and use to walk threw the woods to it. There is definitley wierd stuff that happens in there like a women crying and feet dragging but there was the first time joe and I took my dog there and as soon as we got near the bridge my dog freaked out after like 2 or 3 minutes of trying to come my dog jasper down he sat right next to me so his body was touching my leg and growled and whined. I do think Emily is in there but is Haunting really what she's doing or is she reminding us of how bad things can be or is she watching over who go's in that bridge, Joe and I believe she is still waiting, waiting for her love to come find her so they can run away together.

Gah why does things always happen when i am not there. my friends and i went there the 23rd at midnight and saw nothing. but of course they were all chickens and i didnt get to stay no more then 10 mins. i need people to go with who are not scared of there own shadows, or the wind. (-.-)

I got pictures from Emily's bridge last weekend...go to my link and notice the last 2 pictures...there is a figure hanging from the rafters inside the bridge.... We had TONS of experiences there, from screams, foot steps, scratches on hand prints on cars to orbs seen with the visible eye and the best was this picture taken...check it out! I had to brighten the picture because it was so dark...thats why it is not very clear...but you can totally see her and when i zoomed right in on it at home i can her her nose and lips perfectly...

I just returned from Vermont, and a visit to Emily's Bridge a/k/a Goldbrook Bridge. First of all, this bridge is not marked or numbered like many historical bridges in New Hampshire. We did find it though, and one of the locals made a comment to "watch out" that it was "haunted". I did not witness anything whatsoever, nor did we hear any noises at the time. My camera, however, has capability to video, and it did malfunction continuously at one spot every time I aimed at the area. I had just replaced batteries and had taken other footage, all without any problems. I still have the footage but have not downloaded to the computer yet. I will be interested to listen to the footage for any sounds or things that weren't picked up on the camera!

My niece and I had our first experience with Emily. I made her out to be a sad yet kind spirit. I had a feeling we did over stay our welcome when she moved the car our girls were sitting in . My niece had a hand go down her thigh and it was cold for three hours after . Is this normal ? I felt the cold spots and had orbs around me . I have a question for yas. ..... On route 100 we were heading back toward the Cabot store in Waterbury ,, there was a fog and our girls and my niece witnessed a figure of a man floating across the road in the fog ... anyone else see this ever ???? We had been to the bridge and we were heading home and this happened ......I missed out on that one cause i was looking at the pics that had Emily in it ...

I just got back from that bridge about a half hour ago. I didnt really see much but i definetly saw arms grabbing out torwards my friends and every once in a while it would get so cold that you could see your breath but only one person at a time. One of my friends actually got her on camera and have gotten scratch marks on his car. I have no doubts that that bridge is extremely haunted.

my sister..my niece..my brother-in-law..and my neice's bf went last night..they didn't c anytihng but felt a cold rush down there arms and when they took pictures they can see the ghost in the picture but couldn't see them in person..and a girl my sister works with talked to Emily while she was there but she goes every other day and they talk back and forth..Emily told her the story what happiend and how angry she is and y she is haunted the bridge and stuff like that... -Katelyn(age 15)

Went there between 11:50 and 12:00 Made it to the last house before the bridge and couldnt breath. Scratches on the car and us. Hand prints and blood on the car. The steering wheel turned on its own. Wont be disturbing emily again. EVER!

I was just at the bridge tonight, even though my friends and I have heard the bridge was haunted we had never heard of the things that actually happened. I never really believed in "ghosts" and still dont know if i do, but the things that happened at the bridge defiantly was freaky and scared me. my friends and i went to emily's bridge one night last december. We were driving around looking for the bridge when we got extremely lost. For some reason we decided to turn around, and we picked a random road to turn around in. As we backed up and prepared to drive away, the bridge all of a sudden was RIGHT in front of us. We got our of the car to take pictures, the flash being the only light in the night. All the pictures had little orbs.

Me and my friends Sarah and Erin are going to go to the bridge this Halloween. Erin says she's going to cry she's so scared.

I went to the bridge yrs ago . I felt something touch my back, No marks were left but did feel something. I was all alone at the time no one else was inside the bridge. A few friends and I are going back this month cant wait.

Went there today as we traveled from New York to Vermont for the first time to see the attractions. I think it was like 2pm and we went across and then got out and walked around on it and nothing. I guess it happens mainly at night, I would visit again whenever in Vermont again.

We saw this one picture online of her hanging in the corner of the bridge and when we went to take a picture there one of our friends heard a strange soft nice right behind her ear. It was deffinately a weird night for sure. On our way out we noticed that her name Emily was on the side of the bridge written out of straw yet when we first got there it was not there at all. I dont know but we are going back on Halloween so we will see if anything changes. Yet in our pictures we see faces in strange parts. We really think this place is haunted and its amazing.

Me and my boyfriends family went last night, and we didnt have anything happen, but when i got home we added the pictures we took on the computer and there were orbs in 2 of the pictures. i am planning on going back soon.

me and a bunch of friends went to the bridge lastnight. nothing happen but when one of my friends woke up this morning his cell phone was all white screen and would not work.... he was also the one picking on her lastnight ..... IDK.....

Okayy. So I went to visit Emily the night before Halloween this year..two nights ago. Nothing extremely happened while we were there. But when we left..everything appeared. Out of all the photos I took, one came out with probably 50 orbs around about five of us standing on the bridge. Some of the other pictures had one or two orbs. I have one picture of the side of the bridge I don't remember taking, and it looks like blood dripping down the side. My friends brand new camera..really good one too.....did not work at the bridge, not near it, not in it, nothing. It worked perfectly fine when we left though. After we got out of Stowe, and back into Morsville we stopped at McDonalds, and we noticed something strange on the back window. It was a hand print, on the inside of the car. All the windows had just been cleaned..so the hand print was not there before. When we took pictures of the hand print, they came out looking like an angel down on it's knees with her hands folded in front of her. Later on the next day, I uploaded everything onto my computer from my camera. My computer said that everything downloaded fine. I went back to look at the videos..because I didn't look at them yet. They're nowhere to be found! I usually never delete anything off my camera. I don't know what made me do it that night, but I did...so Emily really had something to hide that was captured on those videos..I don't kno what...but I know something happened..and she didn't want it exposed. We're planning on going back..not sure when, but we are. We're going for the videos again.

Our paranormal research and investigation crew is heading out to Emily's Bridge this Saturday night. Any suggestions?? I'll let everyone know if we find anything.

My fiance' and I went to Emily's Bridge at night. We brought a camera with us. We drove thru, we parked beside the bridge at both ends, and we even stopped and shut off the engine and lights inside. Nothing happened. We were very scarred and in hopes of something to happen. We are not disbelievers, though. We will keep trying. We know she is there!

i'm gonna go to this bridge and i mean might spend a few hours on it..... and to the people on here that believe that they can talk to her and all that bull ur pulling ur own leg i mean honestly ...... i have experience in this field like crazy .... when i was at school in vergennes vermont there were more active places even at the school i was at ..... it was a insane asylum before and i never ever got something like talking to a sipirt and stuff but yeah it was crazy and i did get some feed back when we were doing a circle down there in the basement and stuff but still no stupid stuff like some of u quote to have done.....

Hey i'm a co-founder of a paranormal investigating team out of Rutland Vermont and i've heard about Emily's Bridge. It does sound interesting and my team and i would love to do an investigation there and see if we can debunk the things that people are experiencing or if we cant debunk it and collect some real evidence, we'll know its definitely haunted.

I'm freaked out because I'm 11 and I see ghosts! I went to Emil's Bridge and spoke to Emily in her after-life! She told me that she can never rest in peace until she has a proper funeral and grave stone! Then she started crying and she scratched me and I started to bleed! it was a site to see and not in a good way!

I have known about Emily's bridge for many years and I have always wanted to visit and see for myself what goes on there...well i finally went up there this weekend with my boyfriend while we were in the area. Let me tell you I have never been so afraid. When we approached the bridge I immediatly felt a stronf sense of fear. We drove up around sundown and we crossed the bridge in my Subaru and parked on the dirt road. I got out and walked the bridge alone and I felt dizzy as soon as i set foot onto it and my ears started ringing. I ran off quickly to get my boyfriend to come on with me because i have heard she does not like lovers. He initially could not step foot onto it because he felt dizzy also and his ears also began to ring( i never told him then that i felt the same thing), and then his left ear went deaf. Other than that nothing was happening, we only had a strong sense of angry energy around us. Before we decided we needed to leave i was determined to get a reaction of some sort so i began saying her name loud and stomping my feet and baging the walls of the bridge hard. Nothing happened so we turned around to go back to the car and sure as hell we got a few feet from the end of the bridge and we heard a loud scratching noise on the wall, and then we heard loud thuds come from what sounded like the bottom of the bridge coming toward us fast and some kind of high pitch ring. We ran away so fast we didnt even look before we crossed the road. I drove so fast because i couldnt even belive it was real, last but not least we realized that my boyfriends bracelt was gone!!!!! He most certainly had it on before we got on the bridge too. I took alot of pics but nothing came out on them. I most deffinitely will never forget what happened that day. I feel like i would go back someday, but most certainly not at night. I would not try and make her mad or provoke her, this is an extreamly scary place.

Me my mother, my two sisters, a molder sisters boyfriend went to the bridge. Only 10 miles away all of my sisters got big headaches, I was feeling lightheaded. We went on the bridge and heard a scratchin sound. We decided to sit on the bridge for about 5 minutes and heard a loud thump from towards the bottem of the car. I thought it was my sister just thumping her foot but realized she was sitting still holding her head. Then we heard a scratching sund from near my door and turned around, my mother couldnt handle the stress. When we got home and walked outside the next morning there were claw marks on the bottem of our van like someone was trying to pull themselfs out from under it. Then there were scratches going up the door to the handle. Im planning on returning with my friends to see it again and see if i can actually find a way to talk with her. This happened in 2010. I thought it was a mith till this happened... I dont even know what to say about the feeling.

me, my boyfriend, and Dylan went to emily's bridge last night and some really sketchy stuff happened. im a big believer in ghost and i do get scared easily and i will tell you the second you walk or go through the bridge you can feel as if something is there. my friend stopped his car in the middle of the bridge, rolled his window down and blasted the music. at first nothing happened so we parked the car on the pull off and we got out. i had my dog with me and she acted ok but her heart was pounding. at first my friend dylan went on the bridge while we took pictures with his phone and it appeared to be a white figure under his arm while he was leaning on the bridge. shortly after me, my boyfriend and my dog went on the bridge and stood there so dylan could take a pic. i was so scared, it felt as though something was softly running their fingers down my arm. in the pic it looks like a figure next to me. when we finally decided to leave we stopped in the bridge, turned the car off and said emily, get in the front seat. I of course was hiding under the blanket but my boyfriend took a picture of the front seat and it looked like the side of a human skull in the front seat of my friends car. i screamed to get out. we also heard whisper sounds while we were there. Whats really scary is while at my boyfriends house later that night it sounded like scratching noises coming from the side of the porch while we were outside. when we went back out to the other porch we heard whispering. HOPEFULLY it was just our minds screwin with us and not emily following us.

my first time going to emilys bridge tonight. i have heard storys from friends and want to find out for myself if they are true. one of my friends went to the bridge one night and felt a push from behind by the rocks. she fell and skinned her arm all the way up. another one of her friends went there and left with marks going down the side of the car. this happend as they were leaving. maybe its just a bunch of made up crap but who knows. i will find out tonight.

I heard about "Emily's Bridge" when I picked up a copy of Vermont Ghost Stories by Joseph Citro. I laughed when I read that he has been to the bridge many times and hasn't ever experienced anything. I would be dishonest if I told you all that I wasn't highly skeptical, so I called up a friend who is a Ghost Hunting enthusiast. The 2 of us went there together and spent a weekend in Stowe, at precisely 1:48am we were parked on the bridge and we were feeling creeped out. So much like Taps and other paranormal investigators we pulled out a Tape Recorder and asked many questions, all why calling Emily by name. This is what we discovered... it will blow your minds.

We got 6 questions of white noise answers, and what we found out is that the voice is a "Male Voice" and the reason is because there is no Emily. The name of the spirit is Emile... and apparently he was the gay lover of another man. The rest of the story seems pretty consistent, he planned on running away with his lover Kent from a much poorer family, they were supposed to meet on the bridge. However when the family of Emile found out about Kentm, they prevented Kent from getting to the bridge that night and Emile's own parents hung him on the Bridge... they never wanted anyone back then to discover that their son was gay.

Emile attacks all women and couples because he never got to run away with Kent, his spirit doesn't seem to manifest for men who travel the bridge alone, why would it? Emile's issue is with women and happy couples not men that he may be attracted to.

I went to the bridge at 10pm and stood there for a while. I then went back the next night even later. I had not seen anything paranormal. I also kicked the bridge, walked over it, and yelled at what was thought to be a ghost, no luck. I intend to return again and try to find or have a paranormal experience.

Ok i use to do ghost hunting a few years ago, and i heard about emilys bridge... oh and i live in vermont. I went to the bridge and my arms got scratched and stated to bleed. So i have heard about this bridge, and all of my friends want me to go, but i get really creeped out about stuff like that. I feel bad for Emily. went there are had a few things happen. 1) heard a creaking sound like old wood makes when it is put under pressure...he hanging from, the rafter probably. 2) my friend said "hi emily" and on a recording we listened to the next day, you can hear something say hi. 3) We asked her to whistle for us..nothing happened at the time but later we all heard a high-pitched whistle/screeching sound 4) right before this whistling, i saw a random blinking light like a blackberry makes...nobody had and electronics out at all.

i went to emilys bridge a year ago with my dad and i got really freaked out here's what happened my dad and i had to go get somthing from a friend of my dads in stowe i had wanted to go go for a long time so when my dad ascked his friend how to get there i was really exited as we whent down the dirt road i got more and more nervouse then i took some pics from inside the car cause i was so freaked out but then i started to get a cold sensation and it was a hot summers day so i ascked my dad if we could not drive over but just turn around he didint listen and went over we stopped at the other end and i snapped one more sidways pic then i decide lets go around one more time so as i waited to get there i looked at my pics only 2 had somthing in them the first was a rope hanging from the bridge and the seconed was a figure standing in the bushes then when i finished looking through we were back at the front of the bridge all of a sudden i wanted to leave i took a bunch of pictures and said lets leave now but he said hold on and got out of the car he left the door open i ascked what he was doing to my horror he was going to the bathroom in the woods and i wanted to leave all of a sudden the car door slammed shut i ran out of the car and dragged him back we left quickly and when we got back i inspected the car there was a long scrach going down the side and it was new because you could see the small peel of paint that was leftover

I went there 4 a science class thing and i brought my friends along and my sister we were there 4 like 2 hours we took pictures and whats really weird is that my friend started 2 get sad and then angry it was really epic. We took pictures with me in it and some of my friends and we had 2 say we believed in ghosts and as soon as they took the pic white orbs covered me on the picture when i walked in the middle of the bridge it was cold like 20 degrees colder i think that's where she hung herself. When we left i looked out my window at the bridge and saw a women standing in the middle watching us leave and then she disapeered.

I went to Emily's bridge on March 12, 2011 with my sister and some friends. I got pushed, pictured could not be developed, the car was shaken. One of my friends took audio asking Emily to communicate with him Emily's response was "Help me" we ended that visit around 11pm that night. My sister and a few friends went back on March 19, 2011 and one of the guys got pushed half way across the bridge. the gas gauge went down to E fast. I feel that at this point Emily has become angry with all of us and I fear that if we go back she she hurt one of us. Adam again communicated with Emily and her response was unclear..

When I went to Emily's Bridge I took a picture and saw a strange misty figure running away from the bridge and I could see the ghost wearing the old fashion clothing with the dress and bonnet on her head. On the lower right of the picture I saw another figure sitting on a rock down in the river. I saw a couple REAL claw marks not fake ones that some teenagers carved into the wall. A few of us went to the bridge last night at about 1:50am, we stayed there for about an hour tried just about every trick we could think of and didn't see or hear anything. We drove through several times with the lights on, the lights off, and we parked on the bridge with the car off, nothing. We walked over the bridge stood on the bridge, stood on the bridge for extended periods of time with all our flash lights off. We even tried to provoke the spirit by various methods of yelling and name calling. No matter what we did we still saw nothing we took pictures, video taped ourselves and did a few recordings, we found nothing. I had chills when we first got there mostly from what my mind was creating and making me think but all in all we found nothing out of the ordinary our car never had problems nor our equipment. It was raining and lightning out so maybe we didn't hear anything because of it, who knows. Planning on making a second trip maybe with only one person and trying to find more results as of right now it seems a little less than haunted. Enjoy still a fun trip!

we went to the bridge last night at 1 am, tried to piss her off as much as we could. as soon as we got on the bridge the windows in my car fogged up big time. we thought nothing happened so we left, but when we got to a gas station there were scratches on our car. that bitch, its my new lexus.

i went to emilys bridge with mostly all guy(just friends) i was the only one who kept hearing scratch onnthe wood when no animal was around. and presure on my body like somebody was trying to push me away from my friends. i felt uncomfortable. i think it was emily tryin to tell me something but we were there after midnight, thats when most things happen.

I was trying to do a little research online and I couldn't find any death records or anything. All I found was her name: Emilay Bewch... If that is even her full name. Does anyone know more about her and her history?? It's strange that people say it's haunted but there isn't any records about her at all... Is it even her haunting? It's quite interesting... The thought has crossed my mind that there wasn't any records because it was in the 1800's but still...
