It's believed that during the 1940's a construction group of four men were doing some rennovation work in the auditorium. When it came time for lunch a man named 'Joe' decided to stay behind and finish what he was working on. When the three other men returned they found their coworker hanging limply from the curtain rigging.
Joe's ghost is now said to haunt the Paramount Arts Center. He is known by the staff as a very friendly helpful ghost. Some have reported that the ghost will help turn on lights and shut doors if you ask him to.
The ghost is a beloved part of the Paramount Arts Center . Many performers that have had experiences with Joe have left autographed photos for him.
