Sometime in the 1950's, a couple on their way to honeymoon at Lake Tahoe met their tragic end.

As they entered the area of Crater Range large hills and rocks towered above them. In the pitch black of night the large rocks became invisible against the night sky. Around midnight the couple crashed into one of the large rocks. Both were killed.

Many have witnessed that if you drive through this area around midnight you can see the couples car off the side of the road, and the couple are attempting to wave down help.

Some have stated they have picked up the couple. The couple climbed into the back seat without saying a word. When the driver leaves the Crater Range area, the couple have mysteriously exited the back seat.
